Nikon Nikkor Z 24-120mm f/4 S. Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2. A metal mount is generally superior to a plastic mount as it is more durable. weight. I was all over getting the 24-120 when it was announced because 24-105s have been my staple for work since canon launched the 24-105L IS about 2005 ( anything faster needed , its Primes) and have the Sigma 24-105 F4 ART on the D850 more than the 24-70 F2.8 but I`m loving the compactness and lightness of the Z7/24-70 rig over the D850 / 24-105 For now I have the 24-70 f4 which I really like as well as 70-200mm 2.8 S line to cover the range without overlappping. The second is so insanely sharp, so I probably won't need the 70-120 from the 24-120mm. But the 24-120 would make a good single lens for hiking. ( I have the 24-200, but I'm not very happy with it). Location. Los Angeles, USA. Oct 16, 2019. #3. I tried the 24-120 f4 VR + FTZ adapter on a Z6, I wouldn't bother. It's way too bulky and the 24-70 f4 S is much sharper, smaller and has silent focus for things like video. Though I might consider the 24-85mm VR if you still want to stay with a compact F-mount zoom and stay cross mount compatible. Hey everyone ! This is the first look at the Nikon Z 24-120mm f4S. in this video we will take a look at the build & design of the lensPicture quality compare Imo yes, the 24-70 2.8 is as good or imo better than any of the 1.8 primes. Kinda makes them redundant to be honest. Also, I much prefer the colors, contrast etc. From the 24-70 f2.8, even compared to the 50 1.2 These lenses shine at f5.6-f8 and give a new benchmark for "kit" lenses. After seeing this video I feel completely comfortable trading in the 24-70mm f4 then add the 24-200mm and 20mm f1.8 for a two lens kit. yqCCCm.
